Saudi authorities released three Shi'a detainees after severe torturing

On 11 February, the Saudi authorities released three citizens from in Qatif. There, they were subjected to severe torture on the hands of the investigators of the DGI, included kicking on whole body, beating with water hose, ....

On 11 February, the Saudi authorities released three citizens from Awwamiya town in Qatif. They are Mortaza Ahmad Al Labbad, Ahmad Abdullah Al Huneidi, Sadiq Ali Abo Abdullah.

The three citizens with another citizen were arrested on 9 February 2015, at the police checkpoint of al-Nasera in the entrance of Awwamiya.

The security force gave no explanation for their arrest. They were moved to the Directorate of General Investigations al-Mabahith al-’Amma of Qatif.

In the prison they are put separately in solitary confinements. There, they were subjected to severe torture on the hands of the investigators of the DGI, included kicking on whole body, beating with water hose, sleep deprivation, food deprivation, and standing for hours with shackled hands and legs”.

The fourth detainee ” Ahmad Ali al-Zannadi ” is still in prison . His family had no information about his fate.
